Attorney Richard Hernandez of Denver; cheating loser

The state of Colorado presented Richard Anthony Hernandez with a law license in 1999 after he graduated from the University of Denver Law School.

Disciplinary Counsel found Dick guilty of the following misconduct.

• Recklessly overbilled State Court Administrator’s Office (SCAO)
• Failed to return sums owed to SCAO for work performed as court-appointed representative
• Double-billed SCAO in certain cases (cheater)
• Failed to segregate fees received from SCAO that were in dispute
• Failed to refund fees he owed to SCAO (crook)
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court punished Dick by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 45-day suspension of his law license.

In reality, the comedians sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Dick the Cheater.
