Attorney Henry Nohsey of Union City, TN; ethical misfit

The state of Tennessee provided Henry Allen Nohsey with a law license in 1971 after he graduated from the University of Tennessee Law School.

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility found Hank guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Hank represented the executrix of an estate. Subsequently, Hank was able to obtain a $50,000 loan from the estate; however, he never advised the executrix to see independent counsel prior to allowing the loan.

At a later date, Hank was removed as the representative of the estate and was ordered to repay the estate $54,000 in attorney fees he had previously collected.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Hank by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. September 2014) Hank practices at 223 South Second Street in Union City, Tennessee.
