The state of Tennessee provided George H. Thompson III with a law license in 1973 after he graduated from Vanderbilt University Law School.

 

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility found George guilty of the following misconduct.

 

George’s 1st Bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

 

  • Failed to adequately communicate with client
  • Failed to ace with due diligence (slacker)

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished George by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

  • Failed to provide competent representation (Dumbo)
  • Failed to adequately communicate with client
  • Failed to ace with due diligence (slacker)
