Attorney Howard Orfield of Bristol, TN; ethical misfit

The state of Tennessee provided Howard Robert Clyde Orfield with a law license in 1983 after he graduated from the University of Tennessee Law School.

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility found Howie guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to communicate with client
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Howie by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. September 2014) Howie practices in the Bristol, Tennessee area.
