Attorney William Wilkinson of Tucson; ethical goblin

The state of Arizona presented William Wilkinson with a law license in 1991 after he graduated from the University of Arizona Law School.

The Arizona State Bar found  Billy guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to communicate with client
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Engaged in a pattern of neglect in handling client matters
  • Made a false statement of material fact to a court
  • Failed to file required complaint to recoup costs
  • Failed to cure misrepresentation (falsehood) to trial court
  • Failed to properly supervise office staff
  • Charges fees that were contrary to fee agreement
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonest or misrepresentation
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Billy by gifting him with another complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. August 2014) Billy practices with William E. Wilkinson PLLC at 8041 North Northern Avenue in Tucson, Arizona.

Warning: Billy doesn’t carry legal malpractice insurance
