Judge Frank Marullo Jr. of New Orleans; ethical dwarf, lifetime porker

The state of Louisiana presented Frank A. Marullo Jr. with a law license in 1968 after he graduated from LoyolaUniversityLawSchool.

Frankie has spent the last forty (40) years with his significant snout firmly implanted in the public trough. Apparently, no self-respecting law firm in the greater New Orleans area was about to offer Frankie a good paying job.

The Judiciary Commission of Louisiana Frankie guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Frankie found it acceptable to abuse his judicial position by writing a letter on the Court’s official stationery to then U.S. District Court Judge Edith Brown Clement concerning the sentencing of Anthony Carollo, a man who had pled guilty in Judge Clement’s court to conspiracy involving an illegal video poker operation. Apparently, Carollo was the then boss of the New Orleans Mafia.

In his letter to Judge Clement, Frankie said he had known Carollo for more than twenty-five years and consistently patronized Carollo’s restaurant. His letter went on to say that Carollo is a generous, loving man who is a good father.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Frankie by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. August 2014), Frankie continues to be employed as a Orleans Parish District Court Judge in

New Orleans, Louisiana.
