Attorney Ronald West of Anchorage; ethical leprechaun

The state of Kansas presented Ronald T. West with a law license in 1970

The Office of Lawyer Registration found Ronnie guilty of the following misconduct.

  1. Knowingly made a false statement of fact or law
  2. Failed in duty owed to clients
  3. Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
  4. Failed to maintain personal integrity
  5. Engaged in serious criminal conduct
  6. Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  7. Knowingly notarized an affidavit that he knew was false

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Ronnie’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He had previously been disciplined for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Kansas Supreme Court punished Ronnie by gifting him with a complimentary 2-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. June 2014) Ronnie practices at 3220 Racquet Circle in Anchorage, Alaska.
