Attorney Peter Johnson of Victoria, AUS; repeat offender

The Law Society of Australia presented Peter William Johnson with a law license in 1997 after he graduated from the University of Otago Law School in New Zealand.

The Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal found Pete guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up Yours, said Pete!)
• Failed to communicate with client
• Improperly notified court client’s case settled without client’s consent or knowledge
• Engaged in unsatisfactory professional conduct

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Pete’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He was previously disciplined for engaging a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting o Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal n the punished Pete by gifting him with a complimentary $500 fine.
