Solicitor Alistair MacDonald of Edinburgh, Scotland; ethical gremlin

The Scottish Solicitors’ Discipline Tribunal found Alistair guilty of the following misconduct.

•  Failed to act with due diligence (slacker
• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up Yours, said Alistair!)
• Delayed in recording a standard security
• Failed to pay additional fees incurred by other solicitors
• Knowingly misled (lied) to client

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Solicitor Misfits sitting on the Discipline Tribunal punished Alistair by gifting him with a complimentary censure.
