The Scottish Solicitors’ Discipline Tribunal found Alan guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence

• Misled (lied) t o beneficiaries of estate as to status of case

   

• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up Yours, said Alan!)
• Failed to comply with lender’s request to pay interest that was due
• Improperly obtained loan funds

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Solicitor Misfits sitting on the Discipline Tribunal punished Alan by gifting him with a complimentary censure.
