Attorney David Gunter of Hope, AR; serial offender, Dufus

 

The state of Arkansas presented David Mark Gunter with a law license in 1994 after he graduated from California Western Law School.

 

The Committee on Professional Conduct found Dave guilty of the following misconduct.

 

Dave’s 2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Failed to timely file client’s record with appellate court

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misconduct sitting on the Committee for Professional Conduct punished Dave by gifting him with a complimentary caution.

 

Dave’s 3rd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree  

       

  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Knowingly disobeyed an obligation owed to a tribunal
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Failed to timely file documents with Supreme Court on client’s behalf

Dave’s 4th bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree        

  • Failed to timely file documents with Supreme Court on client’s behalf
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misconduct sitting on the Committee for Professional Conduct punished Dave by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

 

Dave’s 5th bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree   

      

  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to provide competent representation (Moron)
  • Failed to abide by client’s decisions re: parameters of representation
  • Failed to comply with mandatory appellate procedural rules
  • Knowingly disobeyed obligation owed to tribunal
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misconduct sitting on the Committee for Professional Conduct punished Dave by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

 

In addition to the misconduct aforementioned, Dave previously received one (1) complimentary reprimand for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

 

As we speak (ca. June 2014), Dave practices at 4937 Hempstead in Hope, Arkansas.
