The state of Arkansas presented Gene E. McKissic with a law license in 1996.

 

The Committee on Professional Conduct found Gene guilty of the following misconduct.

 

Gene’s 3rd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Failed to timely file record on client’s behalf in appeal matter

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misconduct sitting on the Committee for Professional Conduct punished Gene by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

 

Gene’s 4th bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to timely file required brief on client’s behalf in appeal matter
  • Knowingly disobeyed obligation owed to tribunal

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misconduct sitting on the Committee for Professional Conduct punished Gene by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

  • Knowingly disobeyed obligation owed to tribunal
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misconduct sitting on the Committee for Professional Conduct punished Gene by gifting him with a complimentary caution.

 

Gene’s 6th bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to timely file required brief on client’s behalf in appeal matter
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misconduct sitting on the Committee for Professional Conduct punished Gene by gifting him with a complimentary caution.

 

In addition to the misconduct aforementioned, Gene previously received two (2) complimentary reprimands for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

 

As we speak (ca. June 2014), Gene practices in the Pine Bluff, Arkansas area.
