Attorney David Patton of Scottsdale, AZ; deadbeat loser

The state of Arizona presented David M. Patton with a law license in 1999 after he graduated from California Western Law School.

The Arizona State Bar found Dave guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Dave contracted with a medical consultant to research and review medical records for current and potential clients.

When Dave attempted to stiff one of the consultants by failing to pay her bill, she filed suit against him in Justice Court. When Dave filed his answer to the lawsuit, it included exhibits that contained personal and confidential information about current and potential clients.

It was only after ethics charges were filed against Dave that he filed a motion with the Justice Court to seal the confidential information that he knowingly disclosed in his answer to the consultants lawsuit.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders of Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Dave by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. June 2014) Dave practices at 8149 North 87^th Place in Scottsdale, Arizona.
