In March 2014, Charlie said it was time for Republicans to abandon their Benghazi crusade. Charlie went on to say, “Politically speaking, the administration has won.”

When an innocuous email was released by the administration in late April, right-wing screwballs and lunatics like Rep. Darrell Issa feigned outrage and again claimed it proved that the Obama administration engaged in a cover-up of the attack on the embassy in Benghazi.

The email of an Obama aide shows him instructing UN ambassador Susan Rice to use CIA-fashioned talking points attributing the attack on an anti-Islam video.

While appearing on the Fox News Comedy Network, Charlie the Flip-Flopper said, “The email is to me the equivalent of what was discovered with the Nixon tapes.” This comment proves that in addition to being a flip-flopper, Charlie is a liar.

Charlie then had the chutzpah to state that this new email is a watershed moment and journalists now wish they had followed the example of Fox News.

To argue that NBC, CBS or ABC should have followed the lead of the Fox News Comedy Network in promoting the Benghazi sham is like arguing that alcoholics should follow the lead of Nick Nolte when seeking out the benefits of sobriety.

Congrats Charlie; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of Americas Least Appreciated “Flip-Floppers”; you are far too humble.
