Attorney James DeVita of Arlington, VA; ethical dwarf

The District of Columbia presented James DeVita with a law license in 1983 after he graduated from Georgetown University Law School.

The District of Columbia Bar Counsel found Jimmy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to provide competent representation (Dufus)
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to keep client informed of status of legal matter
• Failed to take necessary steps to protect client’s interests after being fired

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the District of Columbia Bar Counsel punished Jimmy by gifting him with a complimentary informal admonition.

As we speak (ca. April 2014), Jimmy practices at 2111 Wilson Blvd in Arlington, Virginia.
