Attorney Waldo Jones II of Tulsa; thief, repeat offender

The state of Oklahoma presented Waldo Emerson Jones II with a law license in 1966.

The Oklahoma Bar Association found Waldo guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Waldo misappropriated (stole) $37,000 from a guardianship that he was appointed to oversee. Waldo spent the $37,000 in guardianship funds for his own personal benefit.

In another matter, Waldo owed the IRS $84,000 in back taxes covering a period of eleven (11) years. He later entered into an agreement with the IRS to make monthly payments of $704 until the taxes were paid in full.

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Waldo’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary reprimand for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Oklahoma Supreme Court punished Waldo by ordering that he be disbarred.

Several years later, the comedic enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Oklahoma Supreme Court reinstated Waldo’s law license.

As we speak (ca. April 2014) Waldo practices at 110 South Hartford Avenue in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
