Attorney Brett Sanger of Oklahoma City; ethical leprechaun
The state of Oklahoma presented Robert L. Johnston with a law license in 1993 after he graduated from the Oklahoma City University Law School.
The Oklahoma Bar Association found Brett guilty of the following misconduct.
- Failed to provide competent representation (Dumbo)
- Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
- Failed to communicate with clients
- Violated or attempted to violate conduct rules or knowingly assisted or induced another to do so
- Engaged in a conflict of interest
- Failed to safeguard client’s property
- Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
- Failed to expedite litigation
- Failed to cooperate fully with disciplinary agency (Up Yours, said Bret!)
- Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
As a consequence of his misconduct, the patron saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Oklahoma Supreme Court punished Brett by gifting him with a complimentary 5-year suspension of his law license.
As we speak (ca. April 2014) Brett practices at 5221 NW 128th Street in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
