Attorney Dennis Joyce of Pittsburgh; ticket fixer

The state of Pennsylvania presented Dennis R. Joyce with a law license in 1974 after he graduated from Samford University Law School.

The Pennsylvania Court of Judicial Discipline found Dennis guilty of the following misconduct.

At the time of his misconduct, Dennis was a District Court Magistrate in Alleghany County.

Dennis found it acceptable to engage in ticket fixing while on the bench. On repeated occasions, Dennis tampered with the proper disposition of traffic offenses.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the patron saints for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Court of Judicial Discipline punished Dennis by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand. 

As we speak (ca. March 2014), W. Dennis practices at 200 Dinsmore Avenue in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
