Attorney Kathleen Cogan of Albany, NY; repeat offender

The state of New York presented Kathleen Anne Cogan with a law license in 1982after he graduated from Albany Law School.

The Third Judicial Department Committee on Professional Standards found Kathy guilty of the following misconduct.

Kathy found it acceptable to not cooperate with the Disciplinary Board. Put simply, Kathy said “Up Yours.”

Kathy’s refusal to cooperate involved a prior complimentary admonition she received for again failing to cooperate with ethics investigators.

As a consequence of her misconduct his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary Board punished Kathy by gifting her with a complimentary stayed 1-year suspension of her law license.

In truth, the enablers for attorney misconduct sitting on the Third Judicial Department Committee on Professional Standards didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Kathy.

As we speak (ca. March 2014), Kathy practices at 184 Whitehall Road in Albany, New York.
