Attorney Michael Brady of Northern Ireland; ethical gremlin
The state of
Arizona presented Michael J. Brady with a law license in 1978 after he graduated from Oklahoma City University Law School.
The Arizona State Bar found Mike guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.
-
Failed to communicate with client
-
Failed to provide competent representation (Dufus)
-
Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
-
Faield to appear at mandatory appellate oral argument on client’s behalf
-
Failed to obey various court orders
-
Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
-
Charged a clearly excessive fee
-
Failed to safeguard client property
-
Failed to withdraw representation when withdrawal mandatory
-
Knowingly made a false statement of material fact to a tribunal
-
Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up Yours, said Mike!)
As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Mike by gifting him with a complimentary censure.
As we speak (ca. March 2014) Mike practices at Belfast BT9 6EX in
Northern Ireland.
