Attorney Jan Egger of Rochester, NY; ethical dwarf

The state of New Jersey presented Jan P. Egger with a law license in 1976 after he graduated from the University of Minnesota Law School.

The Grievance Committee of the Seventh Judicial District found Jan guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Overstated to MonroeCounty as to number of client interviews he conducted
  • Failed to maintain accurate records
  • Overstated to MonroeCounty the time he spent representing indigent clients
  • Failed to act with due diligence

As a consequence of his misconduct, the patron saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Jan by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. March 2014), Jan practices with egger & Leegant at 144 Exchange Blvd in Rochester, New York.
