After donning a pair of industrial strength knee pads that were provided to him by Wayne LaPierre of the NRA, Rand placed a hold on President Obama’s nominee for Surgeon General, Dr. Vivek Murthy, due to Murthy’s view that gun violence represents a significant public heath threat.

The Ass-Kisser said:

• “In his [Murthy’s] efforts to curtail Second Amendment rights, Dr. Murthy has continually referred to guns as a public health issue on par with heart disease and has diminished the role of mental health in gun violence.”
• “As a Moron, I’m sorry, as a physician, I am deeply concerned that he has advocated that doctors use their position of trust to ask patients, including minors, details about gun ownership in the home.”
• “Dr. Murthy has disqualified himself from being Surgeon General because

   

  of his intent to use that position to launch an attack on Americans’ right to own a firearm under the guise of a public health and safety campaign.”

Of course the Moron absolutely knows that the AMA adopted a resolution in 2011 opposing any law that bars doctors from having conversations about gun safety and the risks of having firearms in a household with their parents.

Apparently, Rand is a founding member of the AMA (American Moron Association), which is affiliated with the NRA (National Rum-dumb Association). 

I’m sure that in addition to paying for Rand’s industrial strength knee pads, that

Wayne LaPierre and/or the NRA will be making a contribution to Rand’s re-election committee.

Congrats Rand; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of Americas Least Appreciated “Ass-Kissers”; you are far too humble.
