The state of Oregon provided Richard D. Franklin with a law license in 1982.

The Oregon State Bar found Dick guilty of the following misconduct.

1. Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
2. Failed to keep client informed about status of legal matter
3. Improperly withdrew representation of client
4. Failed to take necessary steps to protect client interest after discharge
5. Misconduct involved multiple offenses

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Oregon Supreme Court punished Dick by gifting him with a second complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. March 2014) Dick practices at in Gresham, Oregon.
