Attorney Mary Johnson of Virginia, MN; repeat offender

The state of Minnesota presented Mary Irene Johnson with a law license in 1992 after she graduated from the graduated from the William Mitchell Law School.

The Office of Lawyer Regulation found Mary guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Mary found it acceptable to have her client sign a blank piece of paper which she subsequently converted into an

affidavit. Mary then falsely notarized the sham affidavit and filed it with the district court.

Mary filed the sham affidavit without ever providing her client the opportunity to review and correct it.

As a consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Minnesota Supreme Court punished Mary by gifting her with a complimentary 30-day suspension of her law license.
