Attorney John Hottinger of St. Paul; MN; thief

The state of Minnesota presented John C. Hottinger with a law license in 1972 after he graduated from Georgetown University Law School.

The Office of Lawyer Regulation found John guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Johnny misappropriated (stole) $8,820 of his client’s settlement
funds from Johnny’s trust account for a period of six months.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Minnesota Supreme Court punished John by gifting him with a complimentary 18-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. February 2014), John practices at 214 Oak Grove Place in St. Paul, Minnesota.
