Attorney Shirley Dvorak of Grand Forks, ND; repeat offender

 

The state of Minnesota presented Shirley Ann Dvorak with a law license in 1979 after she graduated from the University of North Dakota Law School. Shirley The state of Minnesota also received a law license in 1982 from the state of M

 

The Office of Lawyer Regulation found Shirley guilty of the following misconduct.

 

Shirley’s 1st Bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Pled guilty to a criminal misdemeanor of filing a false tax return
  • Improperly billed bankruptcy clients
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation

 As a consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Minnesota Supreme Court punished Shirley by gifting her with a complimentary 30-day suspension of her law license.

 

Shirley’s 2nd Bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

 

In one matter, Shirley sent a letter to a potential witness that was an attempt to obstruct another party’s access to evidence.

 

Shirley also sent a letter to that witnesses’ employer, which had no substantial purpose other than to embarrass the witness.

 

As a consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Minnesota Supreme Court punished Shirley by gifting her with a complimentary 1-year suspension of her law license.
