Attorney Daniel Starr of Chicago; ethical leprechaun

The state of Illinois presented Daniel Starr with a law license in 1978. He also obtained a law license from Iowa in 1977.

The Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission found Danny guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Danny assisted a client in a scheme to avoid eviction by delaying the eviction when he appeared on behalf of a purported tenant who never actually resided at the property.

Making matters worse, Danny had never met the tenant.

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Danny’s First Bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Danny by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. February 2014) Danny practices with Starr Bejgiert Zink & Rowells at 35 East Wacker Drive in Chicago, Illinois.

Warning: Danny does not carry legal malpractice insurance
