Attorney James Bennett of El Dorado, AR; ethical dwarf

The state of Arkansas presented James Bruce Bennett with a law license in 1981 after he graduated from Vanderbilt University Law School.

The Committee on Professional Conduct Panel A found Jimmy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence
• Failed to communicate with client
• Failed to respond to repeated requests from client
• Faield to appear at court scheduled hearing on client’s behalf

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Jimmy’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Tree. Several years earlier Jimmy received a complimentary reprimand for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Committee on Professional Conduct punished Jimmy by gifting him with a complimentary caution.
