Attorney Paul Ford of Jonesboro, AR; Dumbo

The state of Arkansas presented Paul N. Ford with a law license in 1987 after he graduated from the University of Arkansas Law School.

The Committee on Professional Conduct Panel A found Paul guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to respond to numerous client requests for information
• Failed to provide competent legal services (Dumbo)
• Failed to properly investigate client’s medical malpractice claim

In one matter, Dorotha Finnie hired Paul to represent her in a possible medical malpractice claim. Fannie claimed she lost all of her hearing in her right ear after a doctor treated her for an earache.

Paul then agreed to investigate a potential malpractice action against Five Rivers Medical. Subsequently, Paulie didn’t perform the contracted services on behalf of Finnie.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Committee on Professional Conduct punished Paul by gifting him with a complimentary caution.

As we speak (February 2014), Paul practices at 404 South Main Street in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
