The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Gary guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to safeguard client property
• Committed a criminal act
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, misrepresentation or dishonesty
• Failed to cooperate with disciplinary investigators (Up Yours, said Gary!)
• Conduct adversely reflected on fitness to practice law

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Gary by gifting him with a complimentary 90-day suspension of his law license.
