Attorney Charles Anderson of Kalamazoo; ethical dwarf

The state of Michigan provided Charles A. Anderson with a law license in 1980 after he graduated from Valparaiso University Law School.

The Kent County Hearing Panel #1 found Charles guilty of the following misconduct.

  1. Failed to provide competent representation (Dumbo)
  2. Faield to communicate with clients
  3. Failed to advise clients of status of legal matter
  4. Failed to respond to clients requests for information

In one matter, Charlie was hired to represent clients in claims arising from injuries sustained as a result of a slip and fall accident. Shortly thereafter, Charlie filed a lawsuit on their behalf.

Subsequently, Charlie found it acceptable to not inform his clients that they had 15 days from the dismissal of their lawsuit by the trial court on the defendant’s motion for summary disposition to amend their complaint in order to set forth sufficient facts to present a viable cause of action.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Michigan Supreme Court punished Charles by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. February 2014), Charles practices at 5533 Swallow Avenue in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
