Attorney Peggy Lee of Memphis; ethical misfit

The state of Tennessee provided Perry Jane Lee with a law license in 1980 after she graduated from the Thurgood Marshall Law School.

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility found Peggy guilty of the following misconduct.
  • Failed to keep adequate trust account records
  • Failed to safeguard client property and funds
  • Engaged in misconduct reflecting adversely on fitness to practice law
As a consequence of her misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Peggy by gifting her with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. October 2013) Peggy practices at 44 North 2nd Street in Memphis, Tennessee.
