The state of Ohio presented F. Stephen Chamberlain with a law license in 1988 after he graduated from Ohio Northern University Law School located in Ada, Ohio.
 
The Allen County Bar Association found Chamberlain guilty of the following misconduct.
  1. Neglected a legal matter entrusted to him
  2. Failed to return retainers to his clients (cheater)
  3. Inconvenienced his clients (victims)
  4. Failed to act with due diligence
As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court punished Chamberlain by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
 
As we speak (ca. August 2013), Chamberlain practices at 212 North Elizabeth Street in Lima, Ohio.
