Judge Kay Robilio of Memphis; ethical dwarf, lifetime porker

The state of Tennessee presented Kay Spalding Robilio with a law license in 1980 after she graduated from the University of Memphis Law School.

After receiving her law license, Kay has had her significant snout firmly implanted in the public trough. Out of the last 35 years, Kay’s income came about from working (a) law Clerk for 30th Circuit Court, (b) Memphis City Prosecutor, (c) Division City Court Judge, and (d) Circuit Court Judge. Apparently, no self-respecting law firm in the Memphis area was about to offer Kay a good paying job.

The Tennessee Board of Judicial Conduct charged Kay with the following misconduct

One matter concerned Kay’s conduct involving a post-divorce child custody case. Kay found it acceptable to undertake an independent investigation of the conditions present at the residence of the father by making a personal visit to the father’s residence, inspecting the home and later using her personal observations in making rulings and referring to maters concerning parenting issues.

Seemingly, Kay the Lifer believes that she has the inherent authority to act as judge, jury, and executioner in determining the fate of Memphis residents who are unfortunate enough to appear in her so-called courtroom.

All that’s left now is to see what if any punishment the enablers for Judicial Misfit sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court mete out to Kay the Lifer.
