Attorney Jeffrey Williams of Lima, OH; repeat offender, Dufus
The state of Ohio presented Jeffrey Gerard Williams with a law license in 1983 after he graduated from Ohio Northern University Law School.
The Allen County Bar Association found Jeffrey guilty of the following misconduct.
In one matter, Michael represented James and Richard Hardin who were convicted of receiving stolen property, a felony. James was also found guilty of felony theft. Subsequently, Jeffrey filed a notice of appeal on behalf of James and Richard. However, on the day that an appellate brief was due, Jeffrey dismissed the appeal, thereby causing the sentences and convictions of his clients to become final.
As one would suspect, this wasn’t Jeffrey’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary reprimand from the comedians sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court for engaging in a variety of misconduct.
As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court punished Victor by Jeffrey him with a complimentary stayed 6-month suspension of his law license
In truth, the comedians sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Michael.
As we speak (ca. July 2013), Jeffrey practices with Jeffrey G. Williams LLC at 2348 Baton Rouge in Lima, Ohio, which is about 60 miles south of Toledo.
