The state of Washington presented Timothy P. Ryan with a law license in 1973 after he graduated Gonzaga University Law School.
About 20 years ago, Timothy succeeded in duping the voters in the Everett, Washington area into electing has a District Court Judge for Snohomish County.
In August 2012, Timmy the Drunk was stopped by a Washington State Trooper and subsequently arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence (DUI).
During his initial contact with the arresting officer, Timmy let it be known that he was a judge. Timmy then refused to provide a breath sample while at the police station, which was in keeping with the conduct of Certified Judicial Drunks.
Rather than face the possibility that he could be suspended from the bench, Timmy the Lush opted for the coward’s solution by announcing he would retire from the bench on December 31, 2012.
Of course Timmy’s retirement means that the future cost of his liquor purchase will be paid for by the taxpayers of Washington via the payment of an undeserved lifetime pension.
