From 1988 to 2002, Justice Judith Ann
 Lanzinger sat as a judge on the Lucas County Court of Common Pleas in Toledo, Ohio.
In 2003 Justice Judith Ann Lanzinger was elected to the 6th District Court of Appeals in Lucas County.
Unfortunately, Justice Judith Ann Lanzinger was able to dupe Ohioans into voting her to a seat on the Ohio Supreme Court in Nov. 2004 where she continues to sit (ca. Oct. 2009)
In 1998, Justice Judith Ann Lanzinger was assigned to a case wherein a dishonest attorney by the name of David R. Pheils, Jr. was attempting to collect on a sham judgment from the Watchdawg. This judgment involved a $2500 sanction against the Watchdawg only that was reversed by the Court of Appeals, a fact well known to Justice Judith Ann Lanzinger.
Despite being in possession of a certified copy of the Court of Appeals order vacating the $2500 sanction, unbelievably Justice Judith Ann Lanzinger allowed attorney David R. Pheils, Jr. to collect this illegal judgment against the Watchawg's wife. Not only did Justice Judith Ann Lanzinger allow Pheils to illegally collect a vacated judgment against someone who was never the subject of the $2500 sanction, she awarded Pheils $2,200 in post-judgment interest. Therefore, Justice Judith Ann Lanzinger knowingly facilitated a fraud amounting to nearly $5,000 against a non-party to the original $2,500 sanction.
During the pendancy of the case, Justice Judith Ann Lanzinger was provided with irrefutable evidence by the Dawg that attorney David R. Pheils, Jr. had engaged in the following egregious misconduct:
After being provided with evidence proving beyond all doubt that attorney David R. Pheils, Jr. had perpetrated a myriad of frauds upon the court, Justice Judith Ann Lanzinger had her bailiff contact the Watchdawg about setting a hearing on pending motions to find attorney Pheils in contempt.
The bailiff then contacted the Watchdawg on a Wednesday and told him that Justice Judith Ann Lanzinger would be available to conduct a hearing Friday morning at 9:00 a.m.
At the time the hearing commenced, Justice Judith Ann Lanzinger was in her chambers; however, she never appeared in the courtroom during the hearing she herself had set two days earlier.
At the time, Justice Judith Ann Lanzinger well knew that the Watchdawg was very active in politics and had exposed several retried visiting judges for billing for hours never worked and/or for travel expenses never incurred.
The list of dishonest judges exposed by the Watchdawg included several retired visiting judges that were close friends of Justice Judith Ann Lanzinger, including Judge Richard McQuade, Judge Bruce Huffman, Judge Robert Wilson and Judge Michael Kelbley.
Prior to the commencement of the hearing, Justice Judith Ann Lanzinger arranged for retired Judge Bruce Huffman to take her place and conduct the hearing. Justice Judith Ann Lanzinger well knew at the time that this Watchdawg had already exposed Judge Bruce Huffman for billing for hours he never worked as a visiting retired judge.

Conclusion
It is undisputed that Justice Judith Ann Lanzinger was more concerned with her political ambitions (seat on the Ohio Court of Appeals and/or Ohio Supreme Court) then she was with comporting her conduct with the oath of office that she took.
Justice Judith Ann Lanzinger well knew that had she engaged in the same illegal conduct that Judge Bruce Huffman did that, the Watchdawg would have exposed her for what she was when she stood for re-election and/or ran for higher office.
The mere thought that this ethically deprived moron now sits on the Ohio Supreme Court is quite troubling. Even more troubling is the fact that Justice Judith Ann Lanzinger actually had her sights on running for Chief Justice of the Ohio Supreme Court.
In Justice Judith Ann Lanzinger’s demented mind, her political ambitions trump the oath of office that she took and her sworn duty to dispense justice and not dispense with it.
And lastly, despite being asked on several occasions to find attorney David R. Pheils, Jr. in contempt for fraud on the court, Justice Judith Ann Lanzinger refused to do anything about. Put simply, she gave this criminal conduct the proverbial wink and a nod.
