Steve King succeeded in duping the voters in the Ames, Fort Dodge and Sioux City areas into electing him as their congressman in November 2002.
While in congress, Stevie has dedicated his career to proving that he is one of America’s Premier, Lunatics, Screwballs and Morons in addition to being an Aspiring Standup Comedian.
After Sen. Tom Harkin of Iowa announced that he would not run for re-election in 2014, Stevie toyed with idea of running for the Republican nomination to replace Harkin. Due to his exalted status as a Certified Lunatic, mainstream members of the GOP openly aired their distaste for the Loon’s announcement.
After fully realizing that there were not enough Screwballs and Morons in Iowa to elect him to the U.S. Senate, Stevie recently (early May 2013) ruled out a run for the Senate.
Steve the Comic went on to defend his decision by saying he wanted to focus on “urgent battles in Congress. He further said, he could not turn his back on GOP efforts “to put the Leftist genie back in the bottle”
The Comic saved the best when he said,
“My analytical part, the head, tells me the race is winnable and must be won in 2014 or a generational opportunity could be lost.”
Unfortunately for Stevie, the “analytical part” of his body is his derriere.
Congrats Eric; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of America’s Most Disrespected “Standup Comedians”; you are far too humble.
