Attorney L. Robert Murray of Cheyenne; ethical dwarf

The state of North Dakota presented L. Robert Murray with a law license in 1992.

The Disciplinary Board found Murray guilty of the following misconduct.

During a trial, Murray found it acceptable to make a derogatory remark to a juror who had been discharged following a mistrial in a first degree homicide case. In addition, Murray made inappropriate comments to a member of the print media following the jury trial.

Murray’s derogatory comments to the juror and to the print media constituted conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the North Dakota Supreme Court punished Murray by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. May 2013), Murray is employed by the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

It would appear that no self-respecting law firm in the greater Cheyenne area was about to offer Murray a good paying job, which means as a last resort he obtained a job as an assistant prosecutor for the U,.S. Attorney’s Office.
