Attorney Venita Martin of Memphis; ethical misfit

The state of Tennessee provided Venita Marie Martin with a law license in 1995 after she graduated from the University of Tennessee Law School.

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility found Venita guilty of the following misconduct.
  • Engaged in a conflict of interest
  • Engaged in conduct that was unfair towards opposing party and counsel
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonest or misrepresentation
As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Venita by gifting her with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. May) Venita practices at 13 North 3rd Street in Memphis, Tennessee.
