Attorney Paul A. Carthew of Rochester, MI; felonious pervert

The state of Michigan provided Paul A. Carthew with a law license in 2000 after he graduated from the University of Detroit Law School.
In 2010 Paulie was convicted in the Oakland County Circuit court of two counts of Using a Computer to Commit a Crime, both felonies in violation of MCL 752.796.
The criminal conduct consisted of Paul the Perv’s possession of sexually abusive child material (aka, child porn). Paulie was later sentenced to a three-year term of probation.
Because Attorney Perverts are held to a lower standard of conduct then other perverts in Michigan are, Paulie wasn’t required to register as a sex offender.
Shortly after his felony convictions, the Attorney Discipline Board filed misconduct charges against Paulie. As a consequence of his misconduct, the Board punished Paulie by suspending his law license for 179 days.
As we speak (ca. April 2012) Paul practices with the Carthew Law Firm PC at 701 North Main Street in Rochester, Michigan, which is 25 miles north of downtown Detroit.
On his website at www.carthewlaw.com, Paulie makes no mention of being a convicted felon as set forth above. I’m sure he doesn’t provide such a disclaimer on his business cards either. Doing so would only limit his future victim pool!
