Attorney Duane Brown of Philadelphia; habitual drunk
The state of North Carolina presented Duane E. Brown with a law license in 1990.
The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar charged Jeffrey with the following misconduct.
Duane was convicted of the felony Driving while Intoxicated (DUI), which was his third (3rd) offense in 10 years.
In late 2011, Duane was driving in Alexandria, Virginia. At that time, Duane was involved in an auto accident, but he failed to stop at the scene and did not report the accident to law enforcement.
Subsequently, Duane was convicted of Hit and Run and driving under the Influence
All that’s left now is for the North Carolina Supreme Court to determine the punishment that Duane will receive for his egregious misconduct.
As we speak (ca. March 2013) Duane continues to practice in the Philadelphia area.
