Rev. Pat Robertson: Today’s “Rodney Dangerfield” Award Winner

Congratulations to….

Rev. Pat Robertson
Today’s “Rodney Dangerfield” Award Winner

Rev. Pat is well-known as one of America’s Most Underappreciated Standup Comedians as well as a Lunatic.

On a recent viewing of Pat’s long-running daily comedy show, the “700 Club,” he attempted to cheer up his viewers with a comedic skit dealing with second-hand shops like Goodwill.

Rev. Pat recently received an email from a viewer who spoke of buying a lot of clothes and other items at Goodwill and other secondhand shops. The lady told Patty that her mom told her that she needed to pray over the items because demons attach themselves to material items.

Pat the Comic responded by telling the woman that while not all clothes have demonic spirits attached to them, it never hurts to take some precautionary measures.

Pat went on to say, “Now does this mean all second-hand clothing is a vessel of the devil?” Not exactly, but “it ain’t going to hurt anything to rebuke any spirits that happened to have attached themselves to those clothes.”

I’ll bet that Jon Stewart of the Daily Show is just a tad jealous of the quality of comedic writers that Rev. Pat is able to employ.

Congrats Rev. Pat; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of America’s least appreciated Standup Comedians; you are far too humble.
