The Virginia State Bar Disciplinary Board found Denny guilty of the following misconduct.
In one matter, Denny represented Clifton Newsome in a criminal appeal matter. Denny filed a notice of Appeal on behalf o Newsome; however, the Court of Appeals dismissed it because it was filed too late.
Denny never advised Newsome that the appeal had been dismissed due to his gross negligence and he never advised Newsome of his right of seeking a delayed appeal.
In another matter, Denny represented Darryl Halsey in a criminal appeal case. Denny filed the Notice of Appeal on Halsey’s behalf; however, Court dismissed it because Denny the Moron failed to file the required Petition for Appeal.
As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary Board punished Denny by gifting him with a complimentary 90-day suspension of his law license.
As we speak (ca. March 2013), Denny practices at One Guardian Court in Portsmouth, Virginia.
