Judge Tommy Carver of Bay Saint Louis, MS; ticket fixer

Judge Tommy Carver sits on the Hancock County Justice Court.

The Mississippi Commission for Judicial Performance recently found Judge Carver guilty of fixing traffic tickets. Tommy dismissed five (5) citations after he had an informal conversation with a defendant involving tickets for oyster fishing violations.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Mississippi Supreme Court punished Tommy by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. February 2013), Tommy remains sitting as a judge on the Hancock County Justice Court in Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi.
