The Disciplinary Commission found Michael guilty of the following misconduct.
Michael failed to promptly refund the unearned portion of fee advances he had received from several clients after they had discharged him.
As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Michael by gifting him with a complimentary censure. .
As we speak (ca. January 2013) Michael practices with the Law Office of Crosby & Associates at 475 Executive Parkway in Rockford, Illinois.
