Attorney Douglas Nanney of Louisville, TN; convicted druggie

The state of Tennessee provided Douglas Paul Nanney with a law license in 2002 after he graduated from the University of Mississippi Law School.

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility found Douglas guilty of the following misconduct.

Douglas was convicted of drug paraphernalia, a Class E Felony.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Douglas by gifting him with a complimentary 2-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. December 2012) Douglas practices at 1837 Meadowland Lane in Louisville, Tennessee, which is 15 miles south of Knoxville.

It must be comforting for the folks living in Knoxville to know that there is yet another convicted felon practicing law in their area compliments of the comedians sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court.
