Attorney Marvin Abrams of Pittsburgh, convicted tax cheat

 
The state of Pennsylvania presented Marvin Adams with a law license in 1982.
 
The Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) found Marvin guilty of the following misconduct.
 
Marvin pleaded guilty to two counts of willful failure to file federal income tax returns for two consecutive years. Marvin was subsequently sentenced to four months of imprisonment at a federal penitentiary, followed by four months of house detention and one year of probation.
 
This wasn’t Marvin’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree as shown below.
  1. Received complimentary informal admonition concerning his neglect of a divorce and support matter
  2. Received a complimentary private reprimand for failing to purse client matter, which led to client’s lawsuit being forever barred by the statute of limitations
  3. Received another complimentary private reprimand for failing to take any action in an estate matter for six (6) years
  4. Received a third complimentary private reprimand for failing to pursue a client’s appeal
As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court punished Marvin by gifting him with a complimentary
