Attorney Thomas Niemeir of Tucson; ethical gnome

The state of Arizona presented Tomas A. Niemeir with a law license in 1980 after he graduated from the University of Arizona Law School.

The Arizona State Bar found Thomas guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

Thomas maintained a trust account with Wells Fargo Bank. Over the period several months, Thomas made nineteen (19) withdrawals in the amount of $20,610 that did not represent earned fees.

After the State Bar received a notification from Wells Fargo of an overdraft (rubber check), an audit was conducted regarding the matter. The bar discovered that Thomas withdrew paid himself unearned fees with client funds that he was not lawfully entitled too,.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Thomas by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. November 2012) Thomas practices at 5210 East Pima Street in Tucson, Arizona.

Warning: Thomas doesn’t carry legal malpractice insurance
