The state of Colorado provided Alan Douglas Carlson with a law license in 1981 after he graduated from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan.
The Colorado State Bar found Steven guilty of the following misconduct.
Alan failed to properly safeguard funds belong to others. He also engaged in conduct that was clearly dishonest toward his law partners.
As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court punished Steven by gifting him with a complimentary 2-year stayed suspension of his law license. In truth, the comedians sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Alan.
